Glossary

Definitions of the most common terms across infinity6 technical documentation, with links to their primary reference pages.

Terms

• backurl — Optional URL parameter specifying where the login page redirects after successful authentication. See Login flow.
• baseUrl — Platform address used for web SDK requests, configurable when instantiating the client. See I6Sdk.
• bundle — Single JavaScript file served via CDN that exposes the window.I6Sdk class in the browser. See Installation.
• CORS — Browser security mechanism requiring platform permission for credentialed cross-origin requests. See Cookies and CORS.
• dataset — Logical identifier of the target dataset when uploading files via Ingest. See upload().
• Engine / Decision engine — Specialized infinity6 service (such as i6Previsio, i6RecSys, or i6ElasticPrice) dedicated to a business decision family. See Which engine do I use?.
• I6Sdk — Main class exported to the browser to initialize integration and access platform services. See I6Sdk.
• Ingest — SDK service dedicated to file ingestion and uploads into the infinity6 platform. See Ingest.
• partitions — Key-value object defining how target data is partitioned during upload. See upload().
• requireUser() — Authentication method that verifies active session and automatically redirects to login if unauthenticated. See auth().
• SameSite — Session cookie attribute controlling how cookies are sent in cross-site requests. See Cookies and CORS.
• table — Destination table name within the dataset where uploaded file records are stored. See upload().
• upload() — Ingest service method that requests a signed URL and uploads the file directly to storage infrastructure. See upload().
• Signed URL — Secure, temporary URL generated by the platform for direct file uploads without intermediary server hops. See Ingest.
• user() — Authentication method that queries current session data without forcing immediate redirection. See auth().
